It's that time of year again. Wedding season in Minnesota. It typically runs May through October. For any of you brides prepping for your 2016 wedding, you will want to check out this list of items you should consider buying. It's not an all-encompassing list, and not everything may apply to you. Either way, we hope you find it helpful.

  • Bride/Groom Champagne or any other kind of drinking glasses
  • Cake cutting utensils & topper
  • The guest book does not need to be an actual book; it can be rocks to be written on or a picture frame for your guests to leave their thumbprint on etc.
  • Pens or markers for the Guest Book
  • Card box
  • We also suggest you have a designated bag for the card box to be emptied into and stored in a safe and secure place throughout the night
  • Bathroom toiletries for both the women and men's restroom
  • Flower girl basket
  • Ring Bearer Pillow
  • Wedding day emergency kit
  • Candles unless provided by your venue, florist, or rental company
  • Comfy shoes for the bride to wear towards the end of the night
  • Various sizes of flip flop's for your guests on the dance floor or maybe just for your wedding party. This could make a cute gift for them.
  • Wedding party gifts
  • Parent gifts
  • Gifts for each other
  • Ceremony items, for example, sand and containers/vases for a sand ceremony, or roses and a vase for a rose ceremony
  • Fancy pen to sign your marriage certificate with, totally not necessary but fun
  • Attire accessories, I’m talking shoes, jewelry, undergarments, comfy & cute clothes to change into at the end of the night
  • Medications that you need, any backup meds as well, Allergy meds such as Benadryl, and Nausea meds such as Pepto-Bismol are always good ideas to have on hand for yourself or anyone in or at your wedding
